Sandy Talks Ride and Drive Experience of the Mustang Mach-E Ep. 5

Well Munro Live fans, we are coming to the end of this first series on the 2021 Mustang Mach-E with Sandy evaluating the vehicle’s Ride and Drive experience and it doesn’t fail to impress.  Sandy’s expectations were met, stating that, “it feels as fast (in terms of acceleration) as the Model 3 and Y” and that, “everything feels like it is in the right place.”

Sandy has no problem with the navigation systems unlike the Volkswagen ID.4 even though he was traveling to one of his most disliked and seldom traveled destinations – the mall.  Sandy, however, is not a fan of the placement of the Monroney sticker (the window label required on new cars) as it is blocking his vision when lane changing.

Sandy finally gets a chance to open up a little with the car and gets a real sense of what it can do, remarking that, “going 90 feels like 30.”  So far this is the most impressed with another EV that Sandy has been since the Tesla Models and even thanked his old team at Ford for bringing to the EV future a real Mustang experience.  He is so impressed in fact that he announces that he is going to tear apart and fully analyze one of these cars now.  Wait for it subscribers!  I think you will have a lot to be surprised and intrigued about.

Coming to the Great Lakes Crossings Mall, Sandy pulls up to a Charge Point DC Fast Charging station.  Sandy likes the fact that he can pull in frontwards as the placement of the charging port is at the front of the car.  But once he gets charging he is not impressed with the performance of the charging station itself – calling it, “not fast,” and, “a waste of my time.”

To watch the closing remarks and to catch all of the funny commentary moments in the drive itself, you will have to watch the video:
