Munro & Associates, TechInsights, and Strategy Analytics Present On Semi-Conductor Industry June 15th and 17th
Munro & Associates is teaming up with TechInsights and Strategy Analytics for a joint webinar on the current state of the semi-conductor industry. Each team will be presenting on their respective expertise with Strategy Analytics speaking about the forecast for light duty EV vehicles, including infrastructure, legislation, market demand, and incentives, as well as the future of microchips and power electronics including who they think will be winners or losers in this dynamic market.
TechInsights will open up their store of information from their teardowns of the leading silicon carbide MOSFET technologies they have seen and where they think the application of different chip materials (Si, SiC, and GaN) will best fit as well as where major producers stand with respect to quality and reliability.
Finally, Munro will present on several of the Inverters they have studied in their Inverter Benchmarking and Cost Study including including the Tesla Model 3 and Y, the Jaguar I-Pace, and the Nissan Leaf. Munro will be comparing the different applications of Si and SiC in the I-Pace, Leaf, and Teslas respectively including infrastructure and practical findings.
